Frequently asked questions.
Do you take insurance?
We are a hybrid practice and are ONLY an in network provider for Medicare.
For commercial insurances, we do not take insurance and are considered an out of network provider. We will provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement after each treatment.
Do I need a physician’s referral?
No, California is a direct access state. You can be seen for physical therapy for 45 calendar days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. Beyond that, a physician’s referral will be required.
Why don’t you take my insurance?
Insurance companies are reimbursing physical therapists at lower rates each year forcing typical PT clinics to see a high volume of patients to stay afloat. As a mostly cash based practice, it allows us the ability to spend more time with our patients and provide quality care. All of our sessions will be one-on-one with the physical therapist - we do not use aides or assistants.
What if I’m not a golfer, can I still be seen?
Yes, of course! Despite being located in the beautiful Perform for Golf facility, we are happy to treat patients who are not golfers. Our goal is to get you back doing what you love!
Do you accept HSA or FSA?
Yes, you can use either for your PT services.
Is parking available?
We do not have a parking lot, however street parking is readily available around our facility. Public parking garages are also located about 1 block away on 5th & C St and 3rd & C St.
