About me
Alex Frost, PT, DPT has been practicing as a physical therapist in the Bay Area since 2017. He has extensive training in treating orthopedic conditions in patients of all ages, having spent his entire career practicing alongside orthopedic practices in Marin County.
Alex received his undergraduate degree in physiology at UCLA in 2013 where he worked as a student trainer with the Men’s Basketball and Football teams. He went on to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree at Mount St. Mary’s University in downtown Los Angeles. He gained further knowledge in treating athletes during his final clinical internship, which he completed at the world renown EXOS training facility in San Diego and had the opportunity to rehab NFL athletes and members of the military.
Alex is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Medical Level 3 physical therapist, trained specifically in rehabbing golfers. He has extensive knowledge of the golf swing, how it relates to the body, and how improper swing mechanics may be contributing to a patient’s pain. As an avid golfer himself who has been playing since age 3, he has a passion for treating golfers and getting his patients back to the course. Alex is a strong believer in helping golfers develop a swing that is reasonable for their body’s limitations - a style that allows his patients to improve their longevity and performance on the golf course.
Outside of the clinic, Alex enjoys supporting his favorite sports teams, hiking the many beautiful trails in Northern California, spending time with friends and family, and of course — playing golf.
